Description/Blazon
Upon a black and white checked field with gold lace borders and light blue piping a yellow cyclone.  Above the cyclone, upon light blue scrolls with gold piping, the inscriptions "38TH" "INFANTRY" "DIVISION" "BAND" in dark blue letters.  Beneath the cyclone, upon a light blue scroll with gold piping, the inscription "CYCLONE" in dark blue letters.  Ornamented with two miniature drumsticks and below center five campaign streamers with gold piping upon an evenly divided dark blue and scarlet field with gold lace borders and light blue piping.
